Position Statements
The Lancaster Chamber takes positions on a variety of topics that impact the business community. In order for us to be the most representative advocate, each position statement is carefully reviewed and edited by the Advocacy Committee, then approved by the Board of Trustees. These groups are both populated with members from a variety of industry sectors that span across every region in the county, offering diverse perspectives to ensure that a collective consensus is reached that best serves our entire community. While advocating for our members at the local, state, and federal levels, we utilize our pro-business agenda and position statements to uplift the voice of business when solving complex public policy issues.

Housing is a basic need of all people, and the availability of affordable housing for the workforce is important in a community.
