LANCASTER, Pa. (Sept. 18, 2024) – A group of talented students from Lancaster Bible College will present songs from storytellers across the ages at 3 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market St. in Lancaster.

Tickets are free and can be reserved at lbc.edu/events.

The 2024 “Art Song Recital,” under the direction of Dr. Jeffery Martin, Interim Associate Chair of the college’s Music, Worship & Performing Arts Department and Director of Vocal Studies, will highlight a musical collection from composers such as Franz Schubert, Gabriel Faure, Gerald Finzi and more.

“I look forward to this event every fall when we get to hear our students showcase their vocal talent through some beautiful and challenging repertoire,” Martin said. “It’s a pleasure to witness these performances in a unique setting.”

The Trust has a mission to honor God by encouraging excellence in the work of student and professional artists and by enriching the community through inspiring, challenging and redemptive experiences.
