LANCASTER, Pa. (Sept. 24, 2025) — Lancaster Bible College’s Good Shepherd Chapel will serve as the host venue for a free Community Worship Night with worship leader, singer and songwriter Lizzie Morgan on Oct. 16.

In conjunction with Junction Center Productions and WJTL, and the vision of LBC senior Media Arts Production major Timothy Hemphill, the concert kicks off at 7 p.m. in LBC’s Good Shepherd Chapel at 901 Eden Road.

Hemphill planned, organized and executed the worship night as part of his LBC Communication & Media Arts Department senior project. Said LBC Academic Dean Dr. Ryan Geesaman, “Senior projects are meant to be a capstone portfolio piece for our students to really take ownership of a project and show what they can do. It allows them to combine their growing leadership skills and technical acuity on something meaningful to them. Timothy has pushed beyond the basic requirements and is putting together a very special event with the help of his peers and professional network.”

Tickets for the free Community Worship Night may be reserved at thejunctioncenter.com/events.

Hemphill said he pursued the concert project because he knew it would challenge him. “It has also been a dream of mine to create an environment where the Lancaster community could come together and spend time in fellowship and worship as one unified church. I was looking for someone who was as passionate about worship as I am and who could lead our community in a spirit-filled time of worship, and Lizzie was looking for an opportunity to come into the area. It felt like a perfect match.”

Raised in her grandparents’ church outside Nashville, Lizzie Morgan was practically born singing songs to the Lord. From her first solo at the age of 5, Morgan knew she loved to sing, but it wasn’t until she started leading worship that she felt God’s calling on her life to do music full-time. Even as she pursued her artistry, Morgan never lost her passion for worship.

By the time she was 21, the door opened for Morgan to sing background vocals for Lauren Daigle. Four years later, Morgan transitioned to singing and touring with Maverick City Music and Red Worship. Her debut album “Not My Will,” a live worship project recorded in Nashville, showcases a lifelong love for worship with tracks such as “Let the Alabaster Break,” “Ancient of Days,” “Can’t Help But Praise,” “Pull Me Close / Because He Lives” and “Not My Will.”
