LANCASTER, PA – The South Central Transit Authority (SCTA), that oversees Red Rose Transit Authority (RRTA) transit services in Lancaster, announced upcoming public meetings to update the community on the progress of their Transit Development Plan (TDP). These public meetings are the second round of public meetings being held before completion of the plan. These meetings will focus on providing potential service scenarios created by the consultants assisting with the plan. Attendees can learn about the service scenarios and provide feedback. Local participation is a vital part of this effort and community members are encouraged to attend an in-person or virtual meeting.

The goal of the TDP ‘23 is to help guide SCTA with determining RRTA service priorities in the coming years. The plan includes evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of RRTA transit services and identifying opportunities for service improvements and expansion.
