SCTA ANNOUNCES APPROVED RRTA ROUTE AND SCHEDULE CHANGES
The South Central Transit Authority (SCTA) has announced approved RRTA route and
schedule changes after taking into consideration customer feedback received during the two
public comment periods held in May and June. The new changes will go into effect on Monday,
November 4, 2024.
“We are ready to put the route and schedule changes into effect in an effort to meet more
of our customers’ needs,” stated Greg Downing, SCTA’s executive director. A key feature of
the schedule changes is the implementation of trips on the hour and half hour, making schedules
easier for customers to remember.
“We are also thrilled to expand our service to new areas,
including Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center," said Downing. “This addition addresses
our customers' expressed need for transportation to crucial medical appointments.”
