HARRISBURG, Pa., December 9, 2025 — Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce the hire of veteran Pennsylvania lobbyist Peg Callahan-Kuskin, strengthening the firm’s statewide advocacy capabilities and expanding its capacity to help clients shape policy, build strategic coalitions, and move high-impact initiatives forward across Pennsylvania.
Callahan-Kuskin brings more than 20 years of experience working with the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives, combining deep legislative insight with a successful private-sector lobbying career. At Saxton & Stump, she will continue serving clients in key industries, including healthcare, economic development, hospitality, and manufacturing as a member of the firm’s Harrisburg-based Regulatory and Government Affairs Group.
“Peg is one of the most respected and effective relationship-builders in Harrisburg,” said Kathleen Duffy Bruder, chair of the Saxton & Stump Regulatory and Government Affairs Group. “Her bipartisan experience and deep understanding of how policy moves through the Capitol will significantly strengthen our Government Affairs team as we continue to grow across the Commonwealth and beyond.”
In addition to her lobbying work, Callahan-Kuskin previously served as legislative director for the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Authority, where she championed policies advancing affordable housing for seniors, families, and individuals with special needs. She has also held roles as a legislative specialist in the Pennsylvania Senate and as a special assistant to the Pennsylvania Secretary of Commerce, deepening her insight into the intersection of government and industry.
“Much of my work has been about building trusted relationships and working across agencies, chambers, and industry to move issues forward,” Callahan-Kuskin said. “That coalition-based approach is exactly how Saxton & Stump operates, and I’m excited to bring my experience into a team that values collaboration and practical pathways to advance client priorities.”
Callahan-Kuskin earned her master’s degree in Psychosocial Science from Penn State and earned her undergraduate degree at Bloomsburg University. |
