Saxton & Stump attorney Sarah Moreland named to prestigious lobbyist list
LANCASTER, Pa., June 9, 2025 - The Central Penn Business Journalhas named Saxton & Stump associate Sarah P. Moreland to its “2025 Lobbyist Power List,” recognizing her value to the profession and its impact on our region. She is a member of the firm’s Regulatory and Government Affairs Group, where she assists clients with advocacy, analysis, research, and other government relations matters that involve federal, state, and local regulatory bodies and rules. The power list is dedicated to showcasing lobbyists who shape central Pennsylvania communities and influence the region’s quality of life through politics.
“It’s a great honor to be named to the Central Penn Business Journal’s Power Lobbying list,” Moreland said. “At its core, advocacy and lobbying is about elevating the voices and ensuring informed policy decisions on behalf of those who are affected on a day-to-day basis. Before joining Saxton & Stump, she served in various advisory roles with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where she began her career in state government in 2017. She most recently served as legal counsel and senior analyst for the Finance Committee.
In 2024, CPBJ named Moreland to its “Women of Influence” list, which identifies high-achieving women for their tremendous career accomplishments. In 2023, City & State PA named Moreland to its annual “Forty Under 40” list. She is a graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School and received her undergraduate degree at Shippensburg University.
CPBJ honored Saxton & Stump shareholder Kathleen Duffy Bruder, the chair of the firm’s Regulatory and Government Affairs Group, on its 2024 Lobbyist Power List.
