MANHEIM, PA (May 19, 2025) — On Saturday, May 10th, the Make-A-Wish® Mother's Day Truck Convoy returned to Manheim Pennsylvania Auto Auction, its home since 2020, for the 36th annual celebration—and it was a record-breaking day. A total of 426 trucks participated in this year’s Convoy, the highest number since the event moved to Manheim, making it a truly unforgettable day for the community and wish families alike.

The event, which raises funds to grant life-changing wishes for local children battling critical illnesses, drew thousands of attendees who enjoyed a full day of family-friendly fun including games, food trucks, and live entertainment. The highlight of the day was the inspiring send-off of the Convoy, as wish kids rode along the 26-mile route, waving to supporters who lined the streets to cheer them on.

During the main stage program, Make-A-Wish honored this year’s Wish Kid Ambassadors, thanked the dedicated drivers and generous sponsors who made the event possible, and welcomed a very special guest—Linda Pauling, the original "Wish Mom." Linda’s son Christopher’s wish to be a police officer sparked a movement over four decades ago that would grow into the global Make-A-Wish organization. Her presence served as a powerful reminder of the mission's roots and impact.

Fundraising for the 36th Annual Mother’s Day Truck Convoy continues through Sunday, June 15th. As of today, Mother’s Day Truck Convoy has reached 78% of its $500,000 fundraising goal. The remaining funds are needed to ensure that every eligible child currently waiting for a wish can experience the hope, strength, and joy that a wish provides.
