RAILS & ALES. Saturday, April 6. Enjoy this seventh annual craft beer tasting event held among the Museum’s historic trains in Rolling Stock Hall. Twenty-one brewers will be offering samples of their unique craft beer. Six food vendors will be on hand selling their delicious bites. Thirsty and hungry now? Tell a friend, or two, or three. You won’t want to miss it. Rails & Ales is only 10 days away! Purchase tickets at RailsandAles.org.

SENSORY. SATURDAY, April 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Museum reduces lighting and sounds and maintains a low attendance, with quiet spaces set up for breaks, for children and other individuals with special sensory needs. A few of the historic trains will be open, with Museum staff present to answer questions. Register on Eventbrite.

STORY TIME WITH THE EDUCATOR. Saturday, April 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Children ages 2 through preK will enjoy the featured book “Bea’s Bees” by Katherine Pryor. On her way home from school, Bea finds a wild bumblebee nest and is drawn into their world. When the bees mysteriously disappear, Bea hatches a plan to bring them back. Can Bea inspire her school and community to save the bees? During Story Time, children also will decorate a small watering can to take home, along with a packet of wildflower seeds to nourish the plants bees love. Register on Eventbrite.
