(Lancaster, PA) — Representatives from Pennsylvania College of Technology and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology recently celebrated the signing of a new articulation agreement between the two institutions. The agreement allows a smooth transition for students who complete a degree from two of Thaddeus Stevens College’s associate degree programs to enroll in a four-year degree at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Thaddeus Stevens College is a two-year, accredited technical college that prepares students for skilled employment in a diverse, ever-changing workforce. Founded in 1905 with 15 students, Thaddeus Stevens College has grown to more than 1,400 students and 24 technical programs.

Penn College has its main campus in Williamsport, Pa., and enrolls nearly 4,600 students in 100 science, technology, engineering, and math-related majors. The College hosts more than 150 labs for its credential, certificate, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, and master’s degree programs.

This agreement provides a pathway for students who have successfully completed an associate degree in electrical technology or electro-mechanical technology can transfer specific earned credits into the building automation engineering technology bachelor degree program.

Students must earn a minimum final cumulative grade point average of 2.0 while at Thaddeus Stevens College, and gain admission to Penn College while meeting placement requirements. Students with associate degrees from Thaddeus will be able to complete their bachelor’s degree in two years of full-time study and can be considered for Penn College scholarship opportunities.
