Manheim, PA—PCI Auctions East Coast has partnered with Mike Lewis of The Factory Ministries to offer his expertise as a Dream Manager. He helps employees achieve personal and professional growth during paid work hours.

Through this collaboration, PCI Auctions East Coast employees can meet with Lewis weekly for one-hour sessions to receive personalized support in areas such as financial planning, housing stability, childcare, and accessing mental health resources.

Since the program began, Lewis has worked with over 50% of the team members who have been with PCI Auctions East Coast for more than three months. These sessions provide guidance on a wide range of personal goals. Recent highlights include:

● Peer Support: A team member shared concerns about a colleague and encouraged them to connect with Lewis for guidance. This collaboration among employees helps ensure resources are extended where they are needed most.

● Furniture Assistance: Lewis connected an employee who recently moved into a new apartment with Off The Streets (OTS), an organization that provides free furniture and delivery for those in need.

● Childcare Support: An employee seeking affordable childcare was assisted with applying for the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC), which offers income-based childcare assistance. Despite previous denials, there’s renewed hope for approval.

● Housing Stability: Through diligent efforts and collaboration with Lewis, an employee working to stabilize their housing situation was approved for eviction prevention funding after months of progress.

● State Benefits: Lewis has helped team members apply for state benefits, including Medical Assistance, PENNIE (Pennsylvania's Health Insurance Marketplace), and LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program), providing crucial support in accessing health care and utility assistance.

“Mike has been a huge help with finances, connecting me to resources I didn't know were available, and assisting with mental health and therapy support,” said Sarah Dilts, a PCI Auctions East Coast employee. “Thanks to Mike, I’ve been able to achieve personal goals, including creating a home where I feel relaxed.”

The Workforce Advocate, employed through The Factory Ministries, offers access to a network of resources and relationships that PCI Auctions East Coast employees would otherwise not be able to access. This includes connections to programs like eviction prevention, medical assistance, and mental health resources, along with support as employees navigate application processes.

The program has seen positive results, with employees sharing how the support has led to financial stability, improved living situations, and progress toward long-term goals.
