Lancaster, PA – August 21, 2026 – PA CareerLink® Lancaster County invites job seekers, employers, community partners, educators, and residents to attend PA CareerLink® Lancaster County Awareness Day, a full day of free resources, workshops, networking opportunities, and special events designed to connect the community with workforce development services and career opportunities. PA CareerLink® Lancaster County Awareness Day highlights the many no-cost services available to Lancaster County residents and employers. Whether someone is seeking a new career, exploring training opportunities, overcoming employment barriers, or looking to expand their professional network, the event will provide valuable tools and connections to help them succeed.

The day will begin with a special Coffee & Conversation session featuring a focused discussion on workforce topics relevant to Lancaster County's business and community leaders. Job seekers are also invited to participate in a Lunch & Learn focused on Unemployment Compensation, where staff will provide information about the unemployment compensation process, eligibility, and available resources while participants enjoy a complimentary lunch. Additional event highlights include:

A special service offered during the event will be on-site support from the Pennsylvania Office of Vital Records, which will provide eligible Pennsylvania birth certificates to individuals who pre-register by September 1, 2026, were born in Pennsylvania, and are age 18 or older. Access to identification documents remains one of the most important steps in helping individuals obtain employment and access critical services.

PA CareerLink® Lancaster County serves as Lancaster County's one-stop workforce center, providing comprehensive employment, training, and business services to thousands of residents and employers each year.
