McCaskey Alumni Association to Honor Distinguished Graduates

The J.P. McCaskey Alumni Association is pleased to announce it will honor five standout graduates at its annual Distinguished Alumni Awards and Banquet on Oct. 10, 2024. The banquet will highlight McCaskey's homecoming and Spirit Week."

The 2024 J.P. McCaskey Distinguished Alumni Class: 

Jaime Arroyo' 06—Lancaster City Councilman and CEO of ASSETS

Rebecca DeWinter-Schmitt' 86—Educator and Human Rights Advocate

Edward Flick' 59—Banking VP and Non-Profit Community Leader

Joe Nguyen' 97—Attorney and Commercial Litigator

Armenta Washington' 80—Research Coordinator in Health Equity

This signature program of the Association seeks to commend and celebrate a diverse group of five alumni each year who graduated from McCaskey High School. Recipients are chosen by a volunteer selection committee and gauged on having achieved a level of stature within their profession or community service which students in the School District of Lancaster would wish to emulate.

Please join us to celebrate our award recipients at our annual awards banquet on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The Susan J. Garofola Service Award is also presented at this time.
