LANCASTER, Pa. (Oct. 3, 2025) – Oh, the thinks you can think! Lancaster Bible College will present the fun-for-the-whole-family show “Seussical: The Musical” on Nov. 7-9, 2025, in Good Shepherd Chapel, 901 Eden Road in Lancaster.

In this frolicking musical adventure, Dr. Seuss’ most beloved characters – like Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and an imaginative child named JoJo – take audiences from the Jungle of Nool to Circus McGurkus to the invisible World of the Whos.

Tickets are available now at lbc.edu/events.

Performances are scheduled for the following times and dates:

7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7

2 & 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8

2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9

In “Seussical,” the Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

Now one of the most performed shows in America, “Seussical: The Musical” is a fantastical musical extravaganza brought to life by Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
