LBC Communication & Media Arts Department Hosts ‘AI at Work’ Seminar
LANCASTER, Pa. (Feb. 20, 2026) – Lancaster Bible College’s Communication & Media Arts Department will host a seminar for business and organization leaders who are ready to move beyond basic AI prompts and into the next era of productivity through the use of Agentic AI.
“Agentic AI at Work” is set for 7:30-10 a.m. March 6 in Teague Learning Commons on LBC’s campus at 901 Eden Road in Lancaster. The cost is $35, which includes a continental breakfast; register at bit.ly/lbc-ai-seminar.
The workshop will help participants learn to create smart AI workflows to save time and multiply impact. Geared toward leaders who want to implement AI responsibly, attendees will also learn to create systems that produce consistent results without chaos or hype.
Agentic AI refers to systems that don’t just “chat” but actually perform multi-step tasks. Attendees will leave the seminar equipped to:
- Identify High-Impact Wins: Pinpoint exactly where AI belongs in your organization so you don’t waste time on low-value use cases.
- Create Agentic Workflows: Understand how to design systems that take action and learn where they are helpful versus risky.
- Build an Oversight Plan: Establish clear ownership, review rhythms and ethical guardrails tailored for business and ministry contexts.
- Drive Consistency: Move from “trying tools” to a managed strategy that improves quality across marketing, operations, and team communication.
- Bonus Takeaway: All attendees receive the full slide presentation to use as a roadmap for their team.
LBC Communication Professor Thom Scott, a veteran marketing expert certified in Machine Learning and AI for Marketing by the University of Virginia, will lead the seminar. With 35-plus years of marketing experience, Scott brings invaluable insights into leveraging AI in business and ministry contexts.
