LBC and The Trust Kick Off 2025-26 Arts & Culture Season

LANCASTER, Pa. (Aug. 19, 2025) – Lancaster Bible College and The Trust Performing Arts Center are announcing an exciting lineup of arts and culture events for the 2025-26 season.

Event tickets can be reserved at lbc.edu/events or lancastertrust.com/events; Trust season memberships (lancastertrust.com/memberships) and ticket packages (lancastertrust.com/ticket-packages) are also available. The Trust Performing Arts Center is located at 37 N. Market St., Lancaster, and Good Shepherd Chapel at Lancaster Bible College is at 901 Eden Road.


Luke Bower 

7 p.m. August 31, 2025

Good Shepherd Chapel

Known for his rare voice and sharp instinct for songwriting, Bower writes songs with deep emotional clarity that is raw, reflective and rooted in real life, blending Americana, folk and alt-country. His debut project “Man on Fire” caught the attention of fans and earned over 20 million global streams, landing on playlists across Americana, country and Christian genres. His new full-length album, “Dopamine and Jesus,” explores the tension among doubt, belief and spiritual longing.

Don’t miss an exciting new season at The Trust, featuring Durang Dance Collective, a Lancaster Bible College alumni band and Music For Everyone, which exists to cultivate the power of music as an educational tool to transform lives, schools and communities in Lancaster County. A Lancaster International Piano Festival Concert

Born into a gifted musical family, violinist Peter Winograd has two degrees from The Juilliard School and has appeared as a guest soloist with orchestras across the country and abroad. An LIPF founding member, renowned pianist Xun Pan teaches at Millersville University as well as conservatories in China and has won many international piano competitions worldwide.

Under the direction of LBC’s new Director of Choral Studies Robert Gibson, the college’s choral concerts display the God-given talents of LBC students who will present selections as part of several ensembles.

This collaborative, multi-artist concert experience features singer-songwriters known for their poetic lyricism and genre-blending sound. With elements of indie folk, soul, pop and worship, the concert is a curated evening of imaginative expression and spiritual reflection.

Dr. Seuss’ best-loved characters collide in this unforgettable, fun-for-the-whole-family musical caper. Now one of the most performed shows in America, Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and an imaginative child named Jojo transport the audience from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

The Trust Performing Arts Center

This a cappella sensation’s albums frequently debut in the top 10 on the Billboard and iTunes charts. Last year saw the release of the third volume of the popular series “The Corner of Broadway & Main Street,” the new holiday album “It Feels Like Christmas” and a North American holiday tour. Formed in 2015, the Voctave voices bring to life a wealth of diverse backgrounds and musical experiences.

This beloved Lancaster Bible College tradition is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. LBC students, faculty and staff spend months preparing to present a captivating combination of music, dance and Scripture to celebrate the Christmas season.


Lancaster Art Song Society

The Trust Performing Arts Center

With a mission to provide vocal training to developing vocalists, LASS offers performing opportunities for classically trained professional artists and presents concerts for audiences of all ages. Director Heidi Shannon has performed with the Lancaster Opera and taught music at the kindergarten to collegiate levels for over 20 years. Assistant Director and LBC alumna Johanna Howarth’s experience extends beyond her accompanying prowess to performing in musicals, concerts and at events.


Bright Star Theatre Presents: A Dickens Tale

7 p.m. December 12, 2025

The Trust | Black Box Theatre

A national touring theatre company in North Carolina, Bright Star seeks to challenge, engage and delight audiences around the world, performing at schools and communities both large and small, from 2,000-seat venues overlooking Manhattan to school cafeterias. Besides this classic Christmas tale, Bright Star has over 70 shows in rotation.

Sing along with your favorite Christmas classics and share stories of the season as this three-generation family ensemble presents special arrangements of beloved favorites. Denise, Ashley and Todd have distinguished careers that have taken them to Broadway, film, radio, television, the White House and national stages.

The annual Trust Dance Festival, showcasing professional and pre-professional dance companies and freelance dance artists, offers performances open to the public as well as masterclasses for both LBC students and community members. Penn Square Opera

Presenting “Opera: The Ex Files—Tales of Romantic Mystery & Mishap,” the five musicians comprising Penn Square Opera — pianist Kendra Bigley, tenor Peter Drackley, mezzo-soprano Kate Jackman, soprano Abigail Martin and baritone Jeffrey Martin — have performed worldwide on the opera stage, passionate about both performing and teaching.

New Jazz Underground

This American trio gained prominence through viral videos showcasing its fresh sound and chemistry. Abdias Armenteros on saxophone, Sebastian Rios on bass and TJ Reddick on drums met at Juilliard and are the winners of the 2023 DCJazzPrix™. The in-demand young musicians pioneer a new standard for jazz presentation through their online presence with millions of views.

Marta Ceretta on piano, Stefano Raccagni on violin and Giorgio Lucchini on cello have studied and earned degrees in Italy, are members of the European Chamber Music Academy and have been honored as one of the best Italian ensembles in multiple competitions.

Con Brio

Comprised of award-winning musicians from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Mexico, Con Brio quartet members include violinists Valentin Mansurov and Marina Lenau, violist David Pedraza and cellist Aziz Sapaev who have performed with prestigious orchestras and ensembles worldwide.

Sarah Fleiss

The Trust Performing Arts Center

Presented by the Curtis Institute of Music, soprano Sarah Fleiss has been described as “bright” and “stylish” by Opera News. She joins the exclusive international Baroque touring ensemble Le Jardin des Voix of Les Arts Florissants for the 2025–26 and 2026–27 seasons and will also tour Latin America with Curtis on Tour this year.

A Lancaster International Piano Festival Concert

The Trust Performing Arts Center

Dr. Eric Fung has performed in festivals and concerts worldwide, praised by The New York Times as “refined and elegant.” The Steinway Artist earned a doctorate from Juilliard and is the Carmean Endowed Professor of Music in Piano Performance at Lebanon Valley College. From the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, he will be joined by principal musicians Dana Allaband on violin, Ken Bell on French Horn and Luis Engelke on trumpet.

In a fun and inspiring evening of dance, the LBC Dance Company will dazzle audiences with contemporary, ballet, modern and jazz numbers choreographed by LBC Dance Coordinator Danika Steinmetz along with local artists.


Time For Three

The Trust Performing Arts Center

This award-winning ensemble defies conventions with genre-bending excellence. Comprised of vocalists Charles Yang and Nicolas Kendall on violin and Ranaan Meyer on double bass, the uniqueness of the trio’s instrumentation matches its sound, blending eras, styles and traditions from classical to Americana. The trio’s collaborations with two Pulitzer Prize winners resulted in the Grammy-winning album “Letters for the Future,” featuring the Philadelphia Orchestra.
