LancasterHistory's Popular "History Happy Hour" Event Returns on August 27
Discover how the streets of Lancaster changed throughout the 1700s and 1800s at The Exchange

LANCASTER, PA – LancasterHistory is bringing history out into the community with History Happy Hour, a fun evening of local history, conversation, and storytelling at The Exchange on Thursday, August 27, from 5-7pm.

The evening's featured program, "Same Streets, Different Century," will be presented by LancasterHistory historian and curator Stephanie Townrow. Looking out over the streets below, Townrow will transport guests back to the 1700s and 1800s through her talk, revealing the people, taverns, markets, and businesses that once animated Lancaster's historic center.

Held atop the Marriott Lancaster Penn Square, History Happy Hour combines an engaging history presentation with a relaxed social atmosphere. Whether you’re a longtime history enthusiast or simply curious about Lancaster’s remarkable past, the event provides an informal setting to learn more about the people, places, and stories that have shaped our community.

Tickets are $35 per person and include one drink, delicious appetizers, and admission to the program. The event is recommended for guests 21 years of age and older. Guests must be at least 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.

Tickets for this anticipated event go on sale on Monday, August 3 at 10am ET. Capacity is limited and registration is required and will likely sell out. Those interested in purchasing tickets should visit, lancasterhistory.org/hhh.

LancasterHistory would like to thank History Happy Hour sponsors Heinrietta Heisler Interiors, Inc. and the Marriott Lancaster Penn Square for their support of this program!
