LANCASTER, Pa. (Sept. 25, 2024) – The Grammy Award-nominated British vocal ensemble VOCES8 will bring its a cappella sound to The Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market St. in Lancaster, for a 7:30 p.m. concert on Oct. 22.
VOCES8 has performed at many notable venues since its inception in 2005, including Hamburg, Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Tokyo, Beijing, Sydney Singapore and Mexico City, among others. This season, the group will perform over 100 concerts in the U.S. and United Kingdom, as well as across Europe, Australia and Asia.

Having collaborated in concert and in the recording studio with musicians such as Paul Simon, Christopher Tin, Eric Whitacre, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra and others, VOCES8 is passionate about music education. The VOCES8 Foundation actively promotes “Music Education For All,” engaging with up to 40,000 people a year annually through workshops and masterclasses in London. The VOCES8 Scholars initiative also supports promising young singers through annual choral scholarships.
Founded by brothers Paul and Barnaby Smith, VOCES8 current members include Andrea Haines, Molly Noon, Katie Jeffries-Harris, Barnaby Smith, Blake Morgan, Euan Williamson, Christopher Moore and Dominic Carver.
