LANCASTER, PA - Decades is hosting the nonprofit WriteFace for a special Veteran’s Day weekend First Friday Art Gallery on Friday, November 7, from 5pm-8pm.   WriteFace is a nonprofit organization that helps veterans navigate challenges and expression through creative writing and art.   This gallery will feature work from veterans who participated in the organization's creative workshops while offering opportunities for guests to donate to the impactful mission.   Based on figures from the Veterans Administration (VA) more than 175,000 PA veterans may struggle with PTSD and 14,000 PA veterans may be a suicide risk. WriteFace strives to give these individuals a path forward in expression to elevate their wellbeing.   WriteFace helps veterans generate a healthier spirit within themselves, for their families, at work, and in our communities through guided writing exercises and interaction with instructors and fellow participants.
