LANCASTER, PA - Decades working Partners Chris Trendler, Operations Manager, and Jonathan Yeager, Design & Development Manager, have been named 2024 finalists for the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA) Rising Star Award.
Each year, PRLA honors individuals and businesses from the hospitality and tourism industry for their dedication, service, community involvement, and successes. The award ceremony, and announcement of winners, will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Spirit of Hospitality Awards Gala being held at Kalahari Resort Poconos. Tickets can still be purchased.
"I'm very proud and excited to have the opportunity to create fun things for our community to enjoy,” said Chris Trendler. “The fact that I have had the chance to do this with friends and maintain a successful business is just the best possible outcome I could imagine. Our team allows us to push the envelope on what is possible and help us grow as a company—it’s very exciting.”
There are twelve different award categories, with the Rising Star Award honoring emerging leaders in the hospitality & tourism industry who demonstrate ongoing exceptional growth, notable industry involvement, and strong leadership.
"It’s been such a rewarding experience working alongside Chris the past twelve years, and it’s an honor to be recognized with him for our accomplishments,” said Jonathan Yeager.
The Spirit of Hospitality Awards Gala is part of the PRLA Annual Conference–a three day experience featuring a variety of panels, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and more, for attendees in the hospitality industry. The conference will host leaders from all across Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1937 as the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association, the PRLA has grown into one of the largest state hospitality and tourism associations in the nation. The Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association champions facets of the Commonwealth’s hospitality and tourism industries. Their mission is to promote, protect, educate, and improve these industries.
