Dave Riley Promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

RHEEMS, PA (January 17, 2024) - The Wenger Group, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Dave Riley to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Dave will lead the Finance Team and is responsible for overseeing all financial activities for the parent company and subsidiaries. Additionally, he will continue his responsibilities around commodity risk management. Dave will report to Chief Executive Officer Phil Rohrbaugh.

This appointment was precipitated by the vacancy of the CFO position by Tim Appleby, who accepted a promotional opportunity with another prominent local organization.

Dave joined the company in July 2015 and has assumed increasing levels of responsibility including Corporate Controller. He most recently held the position of Vice President of Finance for the Global Procurement Business Unit and Director of Risk Management.

Rohrbaugh commented, “Dave has earned the confidence and trust of our Board of Directors and Executive Team through his leadership and performance relating to many different acquisitions, addressing complex operational and transactional issues, managing the risk around our commodity hedging activities, and in developing solutions to issues in many other areas of the company. Dave earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Messiah University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2009. He currently resides in Elizabethtown with his wife and three children.
