Cargas Named One of the Best Places to Work in PA for the 19th Time

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – October 11, 2024 – Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business have named Cargas as one of the Best Places to Work in PA.  

Best Places to Work in PA identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Pennsylvania. To be considered, companies must be a publicly- or privately- held business; be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity; have a facility in the state of Pennsylvania; have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in Pennsylvania; and be in business a minimum of one year.  

 Cargas met all award criteria and has placed in the Medium Employer Category among 36 other businesses. This is the 19th time Cargas has been named a Best Place to Work in PA.

The awards take a two-pronged approach to determine rankings. The first portion, which is worth about 25% of the total evaluation, looks at each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second portion, which is worth 75% of the total, surveys employees to measure their personal experiences at a nominated company. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.
