Brubaker Inc. Transitions to 100% Employee Ownership, Marking a Milestone in Company History

LANCASTER, PA - January 29, 2024 - Brubaker Inc., a trusted name in home service and commercial construction, proudly announces its transition to a 100% employee-owned company as of January 24, 2024. This significant milestone underscores the company's commitment to its workforce and the community it serves.

Founded in 1945 by Wayne Brubaker, the company has been a family-run business, with Wayne's sons, Donald Brubaker, Gerald Brubaker, and David Brubaker, taking ownership after his retirement. Over the years, Brubaker Inc. has expanded its services to include residential and commercial plumbing, electrical, and HVAC services. Additionally, the company offers appliance repair, operates an appliance retail location, and a kitchen and bath remodeling showroom. Collaborating with local general contractors, Brubaker provides design-build plumbing and HVAC mechanical services.

In January 2023, Brubaker Inc. welcomed Aimee Deraco as the CEO. Under her leadership, the company has undergone the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) process, culminating in the remarkable achievement of becoming a 100% employee-owned enterprise.
