Bridge of Hope Lancaster Receives National Top Benchmark Award
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA (Nov. 4, 2025) Bridge of Hope Lancaster was recently honored with the Division I Top Benchmark Award during the Bridge of Hope National Annual Conference, held Oct. 1–3 in Lancaster County, PA.
The Award recognizes Bridge of Hope Lancaster’s exemplary achievement in meeting or exceeding Bridge of Hope benchmarks, which are integral to ending family homelessness through Bridge of Hope. Reflected in these benchmarks are both family and Neighboring Volunteer experiences. 100 percent of families reported experiencing caring, friendship, or helpful connections with their Neighboring Volunteers. 100 percent of Neighboring Volunteers reported an increased understanding of family homelessness, provided tangible and practical support to the family they neighbored, and/or developed a positive relationship with the family. These benchmark achievements truly exemplify the Bridge of Hope National Conference theme this year: Fostering Community through Connection.
Bridge of Hope is a national network of 20 locations across 12 states, with a mission to engage Christian faith communities in ending family homelessness through neighboring relationships that demonstrate Christ’s love. The annual conference brings together staff and board members from across the network to connect, gain innovative strategies and celebrate the achievements made in their collective work to end family homelessness.
Melissa Diem, Bridge of Hope National Chief Mission Officer, was delighted to present this top benchmark award. Diem stated, “Bridge of Hope Lancaster is doing outstanding work. Their board and staff live out our calling to partner with Christian faith communities to end family homelessness. Families facing homelessness are experiencing the demonstrated love of Christ through neighboring relationships. It’s a joy to highlight their team with this national award.”
