Dolan Construction is seeking an experienced and collaborative Accounting Manager to lead the office team. The Accounting Manager role is both hands-on and strategic, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations while contributing to the overall financial health and long-term success of the organization. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will manage core accounting and administrative functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger activities, benefits administration, and financial reporting. In addition to ensuring accuracy and compliance, this role will analyze financial data, support leadership decision-making, and help shape financial strategy. Success in this role requires not only technical excellence but also the ability to build strong relationships across departments and serve as a trusted partner in a team-oriented environment.

Accounting Manager Position Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated success in an accounting / finance role, required; Previous accounting experience within the construction industry, preferred

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop teams, essential

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience, required

Demonstrated proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, required; Aptitude for utilizing and employing technology for efficiency, essential

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred
