West Lampeter Township is seeking a Township Manager to further advance and serve this picturesque Lancaster County community. Daily responsibilities include directing and coordinating all departments and activities within the Township, carrying out Board of Supervisor policies and programs, and overseeing all financial components and budgets of the Township. Additionally, the Township Manager will collaboratively partner with several organizations within and outside of the Township. The ability to develop relationships, build teams, and cast vision for strategic initiatives is essential to the role. A successful Township Manager will ensure a workplace culture of collaboration and teamwork, while providing exceptional service to residents. 

Township Manager Position Qualifications : 

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, finance, or related field, desired. Master’s degree, a plus 

• At least 5 years of municipal government or related experience, required 

• At least 5 years of successful leadership experience with the ability to lead and develop teams, essential 

• Overall business and financial acumen including budget and operations 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred
