Snavely’s Mill, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the growing team and support the Controller in recording, maintaining, and reporting accurate financial information. The Senior Accountant will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial operations by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will also prepare financial reports and analyses to support leadership in making informed strategic decisions. The ideal Senior Accountant candidate will enjoy proactively finding solutions and bring a positive, “can-do” spirit to the team.   

Senior Accountant Position Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience, required
• At least five (5) years of successful experience in an accounting role, required; Demonstrated payroll experience; preferred
• Advanced proficiency with technology including MS Suite and accounting software, essential; Experience with ERP Software, a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, essential
• Demonstrated community involvement, desired
