B.R. Kreider is a family-owned excavating, paving, and site management company based in Manheim PA.  This values-driven organization is seeking an energetic Senior Accountant who is self-motivated, service oriented and who thrives in a team environment.

 Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports
• Perform account reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger
• Assist with audit preparations
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
• Problem solve accounting issues (opportunities) as needed
• Assist with month end close process to include journal entry preparation, fixed asset accounting and sales tax filing
• Preparing documentation for external auditors and tax returns
• Performing other accounting duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• A minimum of 4 years of successful experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency with technology
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• CPA licensure is a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
