Oakwood Controls is seeking a Sales / Business Development Professional to drive revenue growth and expand presence within key markets. This individual will lead proactive business development efforts while managing the full sales lifecycle, building strong customer relationships, and delivering consultative, technically informed solutions that support long-term customer success. The Sales / Business Development Professional will play a critical, front-line role in identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and contributing to a highly collaborative, hands-on team environment. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs, support successful project execution, and help advance Oakwood’s continued growth and market leadership.


Sales / Business Development Professional position qualifications:

A minimum of ten (10) years of B2B sales or business development experience required; experience in technical, industrial, or engineered product environments preferred

Demonstrated success in a consultative sales process, including prospecting, pipeline development, and full-cycle sales execution

Experience working with customers in manufacturing, defense, or related technical industries preferred; familiarity with military environments or veteran status, a plus

Proficiency with CRM systems and sales support tools required; demonstrated ability to leverage technology to manage and track sales activity

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage customers, present solutions, and negotiate effectively

Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred
