The Laundry Technician provides cleaning for all Wardrobe properties and performs minor alterations as needed for all Sight & Sound productions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent service to all customers including Cast, Stage Management, Producers, Costumes, and other team members to help ensure that all laundry needs are met.
• Perform daily laundering, ironing, minor repairs to show costumes and accessories.
• Return all properties to their designated locations in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in schedule 1 on 1 and departmental team meetings.

Prerequisites: 

• Ability to hand sew and operate a sewing machine preferred
• A positive attitude, detailed-oriented, organized, good work ethic and works well as a part of a diverse team
• Ability to work alone with the diligence to accomplish tasks without direct supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills with the desire to serve others
• Ability to make quick decisions while remaining calm, positive, and professional throughout all work efforts and while under time constraints

Estimated Schedule:

Monday - 5-hour shift, flexible start and end time

Tuesday - 6 - 11pm

Wednesday - 6 - 11pm

Thursday - 6 - 11pm

5th day per week could be either Friday @10:30pm - 3:30am or Saturday @ 4am - 10am

The estimated weekly hours would be around 25 or 26 hours per week.
