Farm Relations Manager

Westfield Egg Farm is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Farm Relations Manager to join their team full-time. In this role, the Farm Relations Manager will ensure a consistent, high-quality egg supply by managing vendor relationships, coordinating farm operations, and aligning production with market and customer demand. The ability to support strategic growth and business development while fostering partnerships that reflect the company’s mission and values is essential to this role. The ideal candidate will share Westfield Egg Farm’s passion and commitment to supporting local, smaller, family-owned farms. The Farm Relations Manager will play a key role in stewarding these farms by offering customized solutions, establishing connections to resources, and community building. The successful candidate will meet farmers where they are, build meaningful relationships, and help them thrive in partnership with Westfield Egg Farm.
Farm Relations Manager position qualifications:
- A degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Veterinary Science, Biology, Food Science, or Environmental Science related to sustainable farming practices, or equivalent hands-on experience in farming or livestock management; strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, or a related field, with a demonstrated history of managing or raising livestock, poultry, or similar operations in a meaningful and hands-on capacity
- Minimum of 1-3 years of leadership experience including developing people and teams
- Certifications demonstrate expertise in organic practices, food safety, and ethical and efficient production methods, preferred
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, essential; CRM / ERP experience, preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred
