Star Rock Farms is seeking a hands-on, collaborative Controller to oversee and carry out core accounting functions for Star Rock Farms and all affiliated companies. Responsibilities include general ledger management, budgeting, cost accounting, and the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports. This role combines day-to-day accounting execution with strategic financial support, driving process improvements, providing meaningful financial insights, and helping guide business decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships while serving as a valued business partner in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Controller Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience required; Continuing education, a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in an accounting/finance role, including cost accounting, essential
• Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and Excel, required; Aptitude for utilizing and employing technology for efficiency, preferred
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred
