In January 2023, one of the YMCA of the Roses’ greatest supporters and champions, Scott Kimmel, passed away unexpectedly before his time. In addition to volunteering his time and energy for countless great causes, Scott was a former board member of Lancaster’s YMCA and key organizer for the Lancaster YMCA’s annual golf outing.

Annually, in Scott’s memory, this event brings together passionate and generous friends of the Y for an afternoon of golf, drinks, food, and fellowship.

The Scott Kimmel Memorial Golf Outing raises funds to assist with our mission work. This includes (but is not limited to) membership for all, aquatics for all, high school and college prep programs, and chronic disease management.
