Since establishing in 1960, EDC Lancaster County has remained committed to advancing the local economy and supporting Lancaster County businesses. As we enter EDC's 65th year of service, we are mindful of not only the many successful projects that have occurred in that time, but also of the countless partners and programs that have played a significant role in driving these successes.

At last year's Annual Meeting event, attendees were treated to an early look at some of the Commonwealth's new strategies for increasing PA’s economic competitiveness. This year, we are excited to focus on some wins for Lancaster County – from the successful launch of the SSBCI lending tool targeting small businesses to the $800 million investment GSK is making to expand its facilities in East Donegal Township – and the outsize impact of these efforts to spur growth within the local business community, create new jobs, and improve the quality of life across the County.
