Skills Lab sessions are designed to serve as dynamic skill-building workshops exclusively for emerging leaders. We are partnering with the North Group Consultants for this Skills Lab titled Inside-Out Leadership: Developing Self-Awareness for Greater Influence.

Meet the Speakers!   

Gina Breslin, Partner at North Group Consultants, grew up in a family business of successful diversified holdings and had varied responsibilities through which she learned the team insights, intuitive decision-making and entrepreneurial spirit that propel businesses forward. She has been employed with North Group since 2010 and leads the firm’s Hiring & Talent Selection services. Gina holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Mennonite University. In 2021, Gina was recognized as a Woman of Influence by the Central Penn Business Journal. She serves on the Board of Jubilee Ministries and as a mentor in the Lancaster Chamber’s NxtGen Mentoring Program. 

Derek Melleby, Consultant at North Group Consultants, is passionate about helping individuals connect to a sense of calling in their career. Most recently Derek served as the Director of Calling & Career Development at Lancaster Bible College, accompanying the student population on their journey to grow their self-awareness and develop the skills needed to make a positive impact on their communities. Derek has also provided executive leadership in a growth-oriented non-profit organization. Derek graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He continued his education at Geneva College, earning a Master of Arts in Higher Education. Most recently, he earned a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological seminary. Outside of his professional pursuits, Derek serves on the Board of Three Springs Ministries.
