WIB Roundtable: From Burnout to Grounded Confidence

Description

From Burnout to Grounded Confidence: Micro-Shifts That Build Resilience, Clarity, and Balance

High-performing leaders are often operating under sustained pressure making decisions, managing complexity, and carrying responsibility without pause. Over time, this leads to burnout not from lack of capability, but from how leaders are responding in the moment.

This interactive, facilitated workshop introduces a simple, practical framework to help leaders shift from reactive patterns to intentional, grounded leadership. Through guided discussion and real-time application, participants will learn how to interrupt automatic responses, regain clarity under pressure, and lead with greater confidence and control.

Participants will leave with the ability to:

  • Recognize how burnout and sustained pressure are impacting their leadership
  • Identify their default patterns under stress and the cost of those patterns
  • Understand the difference between reactive and responsive leadership
  • Apply a simple “micro-shifts” framework (Pause, Regulate, Reframe, Respond) in real time
  • Navigate high-pressure situations with greater clarity and intention
  • Use a practical reset tool to improve decision-making and communication immediately

Meet the Speaker: Ruby Nolt

Ruby Nolt is a Vistage Chair, executive leadership coach, and founder of R. Nolt Consulting, LLC, where she partners with CEOs, Founders, and C-Suite decision makers to strengthen decision-making, elevate leadership effectiveness, and build resilient, high-performing organizations.
With more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of leadership development, human behavior, and organizational performance, Ruby brings a strategic and grounded approach to executive development. She works alongside leaders navigating growth, complexity, and transition, empowering them to move beyond constant urgency and reactive decision-making into clear, intentional leadership that drives sustainable results.
Ruby integrates data-informed assessment tools and psychologically grounded frameworks to deepen self-awareness, strengthen accountability, and lead with clarity under pressure. She is certified in Hogan Assessments, Process Consulting, and the 6 Types of Working Genius, and frequently facilitates leadership retreats, executive coaching engagements, and strategic advisory conversations with corporate, nonprofit, and family-held businesses.
Prior to launching R. Nolt Consulting, Ruby spent nearly two decades leading emotionally complex social service and crisis-based teams. That experience shaped her ability to navigate ambiguity, guide difficult conversations, and support leaders through moments where both the stakes and the human dynamics are high. Known for blending candor with empathy, she challenges leaders to think more expansively, communicate more directly, and build cultures grounded in alignment, ownership, and trust.
As a Vistage Chair, Ruby leads peer advisory groups where CEOs and senior executives step outside the demands of running their companies to think more strategically about leadership, business decisions, and long-term impact. She cultivates an environment where leaders are challenged, supported, and held accountable, challenging them to grow not only as executives, but as thoughtful stewards of their families, organizations, and communities.
