Meet the Speaker!

Anna Ramos, Executive Director at the Workforce Development Board

Anna Ramos has been with the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board since 2019 and has served as the Chief Operating Officer before assuming the role as the Executive Director in July 2022. Anna has 24+ years of professional workforce development experience stemming from her time with the PA CareerLink for 15 years, serving in several different roles, to her role as Business Initiatives Director with the Lancaster Chamber. She is involved with several local workforce committees and plays a leading role in the county’s business education partnership, Career Ready Lancaster! Coupled with Anna’s unique background and experience, she is a key contributor in cultivating the workforce ecosystem by collaborating with businesses to understand their workforce needs while engaging with community partners to create the pipeline of workers to meet those needs. She serves as a board member for Community Action Partnership and Chairs the Finance Committee of the PA Workforce Development Association. Personally, she has been married for 30 years and lives in Lancaster City with her husband, Freddy, and has three grown daughters. Where she enjoys spending most of her free time is with her four grandchildren, all of which reside in Lancaster.
