Come and host an Employer Table at the Discovering Paths Mentoring Program - Skilled Trades Day!

We’re looking for businesses that are focused on the Skilled Trades including construction, electricians, plumbing, welding, carpentry, HVAC, and any organization where Skilled Trades professionals contribute to innovative solutions. Showcase your organization, share career opportunities, and connect with high school juniors as they explore future career pathways. This is a job-fair style and will be the afternoon activity for the students!

By participating, you’re not only introducing students to the possibilities within your industry—you’re also giving back to our community by helping young people build confidence, discover their strengths, and envision a future here in Lancaster. Your presence makes a lasting impact, showing students that local employers care about their growth and success.

What to Bring
Employers are encouraged to bring a tablecloth, branded materials, recruitment information, and - if possible - interactive or hands-on elements that help students better understand your field. Through informal conversations and engaging displays, you’ll inspire students, broaden their awareness of career options, and highlight your company’s role in shaping Lancaster’s future workforce.

About Discovering Paths
Discovering Paths is the Lancaster Chamber’s yearlong career exploration and mentoring program designed to inspire, guide, and empower high school juniors as they consider their next steps after graduation. Each student is paired one-on-one with a local professional mentor and participates in events that provide career exposure, skill-building, and meaningful connections with Lancaster’s business community.
