What to Expect!

We're celebrating the launch of our January ‘25 Cohort participating in our NxtGen Mentoring Program! You'll have the opportunity to connect with your mentor or mentee, meet professionals across Lancaster who are participating in the program, and engage in exciting (not cheesy!) icebreaker activities. We'll provide an overview of the program, share information about your complimentary tickets to specific Chamber events, and discuss our expectations for the program. Light refreshments will be provided.

Participation in the launch is required for all program participants (mentees and mentors), unless otherwise discussed with Ashley Glensor, Workforce & Education Initiatives Manager.

What is the NxtGen Mentoring Program?

The NxtGen Mentoring Program facilitates the peer-to-peer pairing of professionals within the Lancaster community to guide and inspire the next generation of leaders through professional and personal growth. The NxtGen Mentoring Program is designed to foster long-term relationships that contribute to a strong local workforce as well as an equitable and prosperous Lancaster County. Through a one-on-one mentorship opportunity, mentees are supported by their mentors in refining their career path, defining short- and long-term professional goals, and developing solutions to barriers to success. Mentors are encouraged to provide opportunities to their mentees to network with other Lancaster leaders.
