Manufacturing Roundtable: Measure Your Business without Losing Your Soul
Tuesday, February 3, 2026 (7:30 AM - 9:30 AM) (EST)
Description
What to expect:
In this session, attendees will lean into the tension between using measures to elevate performance and honoring the dignity and uniqueness of every team member. We’ll make a compelling case for team scoreboards that bring clarity and alignment without reducing people to metrics. Together, we’ll break down the differences between lagging, leading, and diagnostic measures. Including introducing the concept of soul measures, the indicators that capture what matters most to team members.
We’ll discuss how well-designed scoreboards can cascade accountability throughout an organization, from leadership teams to individual contributors. We will learn how to use measures to build the culture we want and avoid the common pitfalls that cause measurement systems to backfire.
Through breakout group exercises, participants will practice building scoreboards for the hard-to-measure areas of their organizations. Leaders will leave with practical tools to create scoreboards that drive real performance and strengthen team health.
