About the event:
The Lancaster Chamber’s signature advocacy event, the Legislative Issues Forum, is your chance to hear directly from the elected officials who represent Lancaster County in U.S. Congress. We’re excited to welcome Congressman Lloyd Smucker as our special guest this year!
Congressman Smucker, representing Pennsylvania’s 11th District—which includes all of Lancaster County and parts of York County—has served in Congress since 2017. In Congress, Congressman Smucker serves on several important committees, including the House Committee on Education and the Workforce and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. These roles allow him to be actively involved in legislation related to education, workforce development, infrastructure, and business issues. Prior to his role in the U.S. House, he was a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, as well as a small business owner. During this event, he will provide timely updates on the legislative agenda in Washington, D.C. and share insights into bills he’s sponsoring that aim to support business growth and success.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain an exclusive look into the legislative activities that matter most to your business and our community. Come prepared to learn more about policies in the pipeline and share the impact they may have on your business. Breakfast is included!
