Event Host Emcee: Luis Quiroz, Entrepreneur and Owner of Chellas Arepas Kitchen

Christian entrepreneur, Husband, Father, Founder, and President of Chellas Arepa Kitchen

Inspired by his late abuela, “Chella,” who taught him to cook, Quiroz opened his food truck-in-a-trailer in 2018 to showcase the street food of his native Peru and surrounding countries of South America.The restaurant previously ranked number 44 on Yelp’s “America’s Top 100 Places to Eat” list in 2020, and number 11 on Yelp's "Top US Restaurants 2023" list.

Alma Jimenez is the Senior Branch Manager at Community First Fund Credit Union, bringing over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. With a proven track record in management, employee development, office administration, and operations, Alma is dedicated to fostering growth and efficiency within her team. As a passionate advocate for financial literacy, she facilitates Financial Education Workshops and serves on the Latin American Alliance committee for Spanish literature. Alma’s mission is to empower her community by guiding individuals on their financial journey and helping them achieve long-term financial well-being through education.
