Description
We’re seeking businesses, organizations, and professionals in non-profit, government, education, and public service sectors, including schools, local government agencies, social service organizations, public health, libraries, and other community-focused workplaces where people make a difference every day.
Showcase your organization, share career journeys, and connect with high school juniors as they explore future career pathways!
TWO WAYS TO ENGAGE!
When you register using the registration button in the top right corner of this page, you’ll have the choice of how you’d like to participate:
Host an Employer Table--> Make careers come alive!
We’re looking for employers to set up information tables and be willing to talk to students about their organization, the types of jobs & skills your organization looks for, and their own career journeys! Through informal conversations , you’ll help students explore careers in non-profit, government, education, and public services. You’ll have a standard 6-foot table to work with, feel free to get creative in how you share your work!
We'll take anyone interested in participating - whether that's just a marketing table or you'd like to explore ways to make it interactive!
Education: mini lesson or hands-on learning activity
Public Health/Social Services: interactive wellness, safety, or community service demonstration
Government/Local Agencies: mock council meeting, planning exercise, or civic engagement activity
Non-Profit Work: volunteer project demo, fundraising simulation, or advocacy activity
Library or Community Programs: storytime, coding club, or event planning showcase
…or tell us what you can do!
OR Be a Speed Mentor!
In this fast-paced, interactive session, students rotate through brief tabletop conversations with local professionals to learn about different careers, ask questions, and gain insights into the day-to-day work in your field. We’re especially looking for professionals from education, public service, social impact, and non-profit sectors but anyone working to serve the community is welcome! No setup required, just bring your expertise and enthusiasm.
