Penn Ketchum, Managing Partner, Penn Cinema Management Co., LLC
Penn was a longtime Lancaster County employee who followed his dream of owning his own business. Given his passion for going to the movies, building a movie theater was a very natural step in that direction. Penn built Penn Cinema in Lititz, opening as a 10-plex in 2006. By 2008 he added four screens, in 2010 he and his partners added the county's only IMAX screen and would go on to open another 15-plex in Wilmington, DE and a 7-plex in Huntingdon Valley, PA. Penn Cinema in Lititz is the State's highest grossing independent theater regularly competing with, for example, the Regal at King of Prussia or the AMC 24-plex in Neshaminy, PA. Penn is the recipient of the Lancaster Chamber's 2018 Small Businessperson of the Year Award.
He lives in Lititz with his wife. They have a daughter studying early childhood education at Millersville University and a daughter who graduated from University of Delaware and now lives in Philly.
