Central Regional Meeting @ Lancaster County Workforce Development Board

Thursday, May 14, 2026 (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM) (EDT)

Description

This Central Regional Meeting will focus on economic development activity within the City of Lancaster, with particular attention to two key areas of transformation: the Train Station Area and the Stadium District. Both projects are central to ongoing efforts under the Building On Strength plan and represent significant opportunities for redevelopment, investment, and long-term growth.

The session will feature an overview of current activity in these areas, followed by a panel discussion with developers and stakeholders actively involved in shaping these projects. The conversation will explore redevelopment progress, future plans, and how these efforts are expected to impact business activity, connectivity, and economic momentum in the Central region.

What are the Regional Meetings? The Regional Meeting program explores opportunities and challenges on a hyper-local level, with business leaders having the chance to weigh in on pressing topics. Each session highlights a different area of the county, including the Northeast, Northwest, Central, and South & East regions.

All Regional Meetings are free and open to the public, and each event is hosted by a member business within the featured region. Whether you're a business professional, community leader, or smart growth advocate, these sessions are an opportunity for you to help shape the direction of Lancaster County.
