This Ag Issues Forum will focus on biosecurity, particularly as it relates to disease prevention, emergency preparedness, and the broader implications for Lancaster County’s agriculture community, especially in light of recent avian influenza concerns.

The session will explore what biosecurity risks look like in real-world operations, how outbreaks and preparedness challenges can impact Lancaster County’s ag economy and supply chains, and what steps producers and agribusinesses should be considering to better prepare moving forward.
