Join the Lancaster Chamber for a unique Ag Issues Forum experience that takes participants beyond the meeting room and onto a working Lancaster County farm. Through guided tours, expert insights, and on-site discussions, attendees will gain a firsthand look at the opportunities, challenges, and innovations shaping agriculture in our region.
These programs are designed to connect agribusiness professionals, community leaders, and interested stakeholders with the people and practices driving one of Lancaster County’s most important industries. Participants can expect educational discussions, networking opportunities, and practical insights into topics impacting the future of agriculture, conservation, and rural economic development.
The tour will be led by:
Jeff Swinehart, President & CEO of Lancaster Farmland Trust
Micheal Kelchner, Conservation Program Manager at Lancaster Farmland Trust
Attendees can expect a guided farm tour showcasing real-world conservation practices in action, along with opportunities to engage directly with agricultural leaders, ask questions, and gain practical insights into how conservation efforts support both environmental stewardship and the long-term success of Lancaster County agriculture.
Due to limited on-site parking, attendees are encouraged to carpool if possible. Additional parking and logistical details will be shared with registered attendees prior to the event.
