Marketing & Media Coordinator

Position/Job Description

The Marketing & Media Coordinator is responsible for creating, planning, and executing all marketing and media strategies for the LCFA’s various operations: Fire Expo, LCFA Bookstore, and the Pennsylvania Fireman magazine. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with customers, exhibitors, advertisers, and LCFA members and member organizations. In addition, responsibilities include creating, collecting, and organizing content for digital and print media with coordination for layout using various outlets.

Qualifications

• Experience with creating and executing marketing/promotional campaigns.
• Experience with marketing and promotions using all forms of social media.
• Experience with building brand awareness utilizing multiple media outlets.
• Ability to identify potential markets for promotions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and all Office Suite applications.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.
• Excellent networking skills.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Proficient in use of email and internet.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of administrative and basic office procedures.
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Working knowledge of basic office equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute marketing strategies.
• Assemble/collect advertisements, articles, and other information for digital and print media publication.
• Provide recommendations, guidance, and direction for digital and print media layout.
• Provide direction on layout of material used in digital platform and print media.
• Develop content for digital and print media publication.
• Prepare and send appropriate communications through email marketing system.
• Develop and maintain material on social media sites.
• Assist in developing content and maintaining website.
• Monitor marketing campaigns and report on results.
• Participation and assisting with planning and conducting special events.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness in all tasks/assignments.
• Manage inquiries and incoming work requests.
• Ensure accurate creation of customer invoicing.
• Checking and distributing documents and correspondence.
• Maintain paper and/or electronic files as per office protocol.
• Accurately update and maintain databases.
• Coordinate media workflow.
• Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
• Maintain accurate and complete records consistent with policy and procedure.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Will work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
