What are our Industry Tours?

Great question! They provide a unique opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of the host business, including requirements to serve the industry. Attendees discover the impact of advancing technologies and view first-hand the initiatives that have been implemented to improve operations. It is also a great way to develop relationships with potential business partners. 

Each location is chosen to highlight its innovative processes, and unique business model, or share best practices. 

What to expect!

During the tour you will be able to see three key areas of nuclear power! First we will stop at the Main Turbine hall where you will learn about our massive Turbines that are used to spin our generator and how they are powered by the steam produced in the core. Next we will stop by in the main control room where you will see how our operators maintain stability of the plant. Lastly we will stop by the Fuel Floor where you will see where we store our used fuel bundles and how we gain access to the core and put in new fuel!
