What to Expect!

Truett Cathy, the Founder of Chic-fil-A, has said: If you hire the “right people again and again, you will strengthen your culture over time.” We agree, hiring with purpose makes all the difference. Being able to identify whether a potential employee is values-aligned to fit your organizational culture and has the essential characteristics needed to be successful in the role is a critical skill to successful hiring. We will explore the principles of, and steps to purposeful hiring, and learn from a panel of business leaders who are leading the charge in their approach to talent selection.

Meet the Facilitators!

Gina Breslin, Partner at North Group Consultants, grew up in a family business of successful diversified holdings and had varied responsibilities through which she learned the team insights, intuitive decision-making and entrepreneurial spirit that propel businesses forward. She has been employed with North Group since 2010 and leads the firm’s Hiring & Talent Selection services. Gina holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Mennonite University. In 2021, Gina was recognized as a Woman of Influence by the Central Penn Business Journal. She serves on the Board of Jubilee Ministries and as a mentor in the Lancaster Chamber’s NxtGen Mentoring Program.

Josh Keefer, Partner at North Group Consultants, has a passion for caring for people and a diverse skillset that stems from a background in nonprofit leadership, business, ministry, and real estate. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College and most recently, served as VP of Global Development at an international nonprofit. Josh joined North Group in 2017 and values walking alongside leaders as they realize the effectiveness of an empowered team to achieve a common goal. An active member of the local community, Josh has served on numerous boards and was recognized by the Central Penn Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” leader.
